Lulu LemonAid Warriors Los Angeles, CA

Tweens want to help. But we don't want help doing it." That's the independent spirit behind eleven year old Lulu Cerone's LemonAID Warrior organization that hopes to inspire a new generation of self motivated philanthropists. Eight to Thirteen year old tweens have the kind of high energy, out-of-the-box ideas that can turn an ordinary Lemonade Stand into an international fund raising sensation. Just ask Lulu. After the earthquake in Haiti, she started a Girls vs. Boys Lemonade WAR in her fifth grade class at School. Two weeks later, the contest had spread across the country, and as far away as Canada where kids began holding lemonade stands for the boys team or the girls team.
In addition she hosted a Red Cross Relief concert where dozens of kid rock and roll bands performed in Los Angeles to raise money for Japan. She was also invited this summer to attend the International Youth Summit in New York.
